Channel Sales Engineer - Germany

Genetec is currently seeking a regional Channel Sales Engineer (CSE). The CSE will be office or home office based and provide support for customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Occasional traveling to customers, partners or tradeshows might be required. The CSE will be responsible to educate and expand the technical knowledge of our channel partners with respect to our software and hardware solutions. Working closely with the sales team, the CSE will assist in technical aspects of a sale providing information when necessary to allow for quoting and customer responses. The role includes to conduct presentations either live or online to both partners and end users as required. The CSE will work together with the field Sales Engineers (SE) to ensure a timely response to all stakeholders internal as well as external. The regional CSE will stay in close contact with the Channel Sales Engineering Team in Europe which acts as a backup for the given role Roles & Responsibilities: - Educate channel partner on Genetec's software and hardware solutions - Work in close cooperation with the field SEs - Assist with general technical calls and emails - Run presentations, online demos and assist in conference calls - Define a bill of materials upon request allowing Channel Sales to create pricing - Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware solutions - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners - Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations - Work together with the sales team in responding to RFP’s - Create white papers and application notes on Genetec’s software solution More information: https://apply.workable.com/genetec-inc/j/1364B240CA/
