Senior Cloud Engineer (all genders), Berlin

What you can expect: • You will deploy, debug, and execute project activities related to cloud computing for e.g. CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure validation, application validations. • You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage, observability, security policies, compliance, access mechanisms. • You will make recommendations for performance and cost optimization for activities related to cloud in the project. • You will modify, improve and develop applications compatible with existing and / or new cloud infrastructure. • You ensure high availability, disaster recovery and quality documentation. • You will also interact with stakeholders to understand their needs and make recommendations based on it. • You will educate and support other engineers on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives. This is what you bring along: • Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent qualification and proven working experience as Cloud Engineer, Cloud Developer, DevOps Engineer or similar. • Proven experience in planning, implementing and managing Azure infrastructures. • Experience in stakeholder management and direct client contact. • Deep understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, etc. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices. • AWS, Azure or GCP certifications are a plus.
