Edge Datenwirtschaft

Edge Data Economy is a technology program for the development of edge computing software for data economy. The applications are characterized by a well-balanced distribution of processing steps between edge devices and cloud services and therefore form the basis for the sovereign collection and processing of data in data rooms and thus innovative and secure business models. Ten projects demonstrate the benefits and advantages of edge computing solutions in the application domains of production, energy, water management, food, smart living, and care. A particular focus of the technology program, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, is on the development of sustainable solutions.
